For this chaat banana and oranges are must and any fruits can be combined depending o seasonal availability and personal preferences.
Ingredients:
Cucumber - 1
Oranges - 1
Banana - 1
Pears - 1
Pineapple - 1/4 cup
Dressing:
Ginger - 1" (Grate and have only juice)
Green Chilli - 1 (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Mint Leaves - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Sugar - 1 tsp
Black salt - a pinch
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - less than 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala - 1 1/2 tsp
Amchoor powder - 1/4 tsp
Roasted Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp (powdered)
Salt - 1 tsp
Method:
- Cut the fruits into 1/4 " size pieces.
- Take the cut fruits in a bowl and keep aside.
- Crush green chilli, coriander leaves and mint leaves using mortar and pestle.
- Add lemon juice to the mixture of fruit bowl.
- Now add the crushed items and other items of dressing.
- Toss the fruits mixture or mix well with a spoon and serve.
